Our picture of the week goes to 6 year old Lily from Weymouth, Massachusetts in the US who sent us this picture of: How the Lion got his Roar a story from South Africa told by Gcina Mhlophe. When Lily she was a baby – her family say she used to roar and so she was nicknamed: ‘Lily the Lion’ so no wonder she chose How The Lion Got His Roar as one of the stories to illustrate! We love all the bees you’ve included swarming round lion’s mane and the way you’ve drawn a red circle around his head as they sting him. No wonder he began to roar!
